New Full鈥怲ime Faculty and Academic Administrator Orientation
New Faculty Orientation (NFO) is an orientation program for new full-time faculty and academic administrators.聽 Participation in NFO is required for all new full-time faculty members, whether or not they have taught as a part-time faculty member at Stevenson, and for Deans and Academic Program Administrators who are new to Stevenson.
New full-time faculty and academic administrators meet regularly with an academic administrator to learn about Stevenson鈥檚 policies and procedures, the functions and responsibilities of various campus offices, and other relevant topics. The learning outcomes and schedule for the program are provided to participants at the start of the NFO program.
Learning Management System Orientation
All new faculty, full-time and part-time, are required to complete an orientation and training module on using the University鈥檚 Learning Management System (LMS). This learning opportunity is facilitated by the Learning Technologies and Instructional Design (LTID) team and overseen by the Vice Provost for Online Learning or their designee.
