We are excited to announce that the new Philip A. Zaffere Library will be open and ready to welcome students, faculty, and staff when they return from Spring Break on Monday, March 18.

The Zaffere Library is now the vibrant new facility concentrating all of Stevenson’s library services in one location. Watch the video below for a tour of the new space.

Inside the Zaffere Library, you’ll find welcoming librarians, comfortable spaces, spectacular views, rooms and spaces for quiet study, and resources for research and scholarship, including:

• Physical collections (books, course reserve items, newspapers, journals, films, and more)
• Electronic resources (articles, eBooks, videos, images)
• Computer workstations in The Chip Rouse Computer and Media Room
• Library staff who can help with research and find answers to your questions
• Space for group and individual study (study rooms can be )
• Printer/scanner/copier station

The Zaffere Library’s operating hours will be:

• Monday–Thursday 8 a.m.–10 p.m.
• Friday 8 a.m.–6 p.m.
• Saturday 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
• Sunday 12 p.m.–10 p.m.

The Zaffere Library offers extensive resources for research and study, all in a beautiful and vibrant new space.

There is plenty space for individual and group study, including private study rooms that can be reserved online.

Relax or study outside while taking in views of the natural landscape surrounding Stevenson.

As of Monday, March 18, the Shuttle to North Campus will also include a regular stop at the Zaffere Library for pickup/drop-off—so it’s easier than ever to access the resources you need. The Shuttle runs approximately every 20 minutes.

The Zaffere Library is a beautiful, comfortable, and resource-filled addition to Stevenson’s campus. We’re looking forward to everyone using it!
